With the registration, an excursion is offered
– in the Abdera area, the place birth of Democritus, and the Archaeological Museum with ancient artefacts which date from around 7th century BC to 13th century AD.
– a visit of the traditional fishing village of Porto Lagos and the lake of Vistonida, an aquatic biotope with more than 200 species of wild birds and a place where you can admire flamingos and pelicans
– a visit of the magnificent monastery of Agios Nikolaos
– a guided visit of the Old Town of Xanthi with old houses of various architectural styles, cobble stone roads and museums.
